Edinburgh Festival, The Fringe, Book Festival, Edinburgh Tattoo… it’s all going on in Scotland’s capital city this summer! With shows for all ages and tastes, and street performers to entertain the crowds, you’re sure to have a fab time. From 3rd-26th August, the Scottish region of the Camping & Caravanning Club run a Temporary Holiday Site at the Drum Estate in Edinburgh (membership is required), you can stay there for the amazing price of £8.50 a night.
Permanent campsites include http://www.slatebarnscaravanpark.co.uk/our-services/ and http://www.mortonhall.co.uk/mortonhall/caravans-camping-self-catering/ . These sites offer more facilities and are both on great bus routes to the city centre.
With the majestic architecture of Edinburgh as a backdrop to events, this summer season promises to be just amazing!
